The TPPP committee members and volunteers encourage you to be actively involved and to volunteer you times through committee work. By volunteering, you are actively involving yourself and ensuring your direct impact on teen pregnancy prevention. TPPP has several committees to choose from. Conference Committee
Assist with the development and implementation the conference planning efforts. Performs some pre & post- conference activities. Some duties may include fundraising, finding sponsorships, selecting topics/themes, speakers, registration, locating venue & catering services, set-up, posters, banners, vendors, exhibits, invitations/announcements, updating attendees list, badges, nametags, special conference gift bags and mementos.

FGYL Award Committee (Felicia Gail Youth Leadership Award)
Assist with the selection of determining which high school youth/teen is awarded this prestigious honor and a cash award. Some duties may include reading, rating, and accessing them based on the student’s activities, leadership skills, and healthy decision making, to determine which youth is most deserving of the FGYL award.

Membership/Development Committee
Assist with the recruitment, orientation, retention, and the organization of the membership status. Some activities may include maintaining membership database, recruiting new members, retaining current members, increasing the awareness by members of the value of a TPPP membership.

Program Committee
Assist with the promoting and planning of programs and agenda for the TPPP quarterly meetings. Some activities may include, selecting themes/topics, guest speakers, or panels, postage to mailings, and set-up for guest to TPPP workshops, events, or meetings.

Publicity Committee
Assists with the visibility of TPPP and highlights activities, events, and campaigns through the media, TPPP website, brochure, newsletters, and other communications strategies. Some duties may include, assisting with updating/maintaining the TPPP website and finding creative and effective ways to keep TPPP’s image, mission and work in the public eye.
