Fathers Support Center, St. Louis
Youth Leadership and Development Program
{-ORGANIZATION'S MISSION-}
A partner with the State of Missouri Social Services. FSC helps to support fathers who are unemployed or underemployed in order to impact the outcome for the fathers & their children; by moving the nonparticipating father to a position of involvement & equity in the life of his child.
Prepares fathers to become financially responsible, help obtain the skills necessary to gain steady employment, and build relationships with their children.
{-PROGRAM DESCRIPTION-}
Youth leadership and development provides children/youth training in making responsible behavior choices. Youth participate in goal planning & preparation. Programs includes intiatives to prevent drug & alcohol use, teen pregnancy & gang involvement.
Family Formation Program, The Development & Mentoring Program, Youth Leadership & Development, Father's Rap-A Self Help Fatherhood Support Program, Male Health & Wellness.
